About Us
Brian Edgerly has been in healthcare for over 32 years. During that time, he always joked with his patients that someday he was going to open an ice cream stand on the corner. Year after year, he repeated the same thing, and he received some mixed messages in response. Some would say he better not leave – what would they do without him… while others would say, “That sounds yummy!”
The “what if…?” question was always in the background, at least until recently. Call it a mid-life crisis, but Brian decided to bring that dream from the background to the foreground of his life and start "Sweet ‘n’ Salty Scoops" - a way to share his passion for the sweet and salty combo.
Brian searches for the blend every chance he gets…peanut butter and jelly, honey mustard, teriyaki chicken, maple bacon, etc. Hungry yet? Exactly! This combination balances two contrasting flavor profiles and creates a delightful and satisfying taste experience – especially with ice cream!
Brian's hope and joy is to bring scoops of this sweet and salty symphony to life.

My name is Brian Edgerly. I am the owner and operator of Sweet and Salty Scoops. Ice cream has always been the ultimate food to me. It’s the perfect food to reward a victory, comfort a hurt, and celebrate a special occasion. Ice cream also stands on its own any time – any place.

I’ve been in healthcare for over 33 years. During that time, I’ve always half-joked with patients that someday I was going to open an ice cream stand on the corner. Year after year, I repeated the same story, receiving mixed responses. Some would say, “You better not leave – what would we do without you?”, while others would say, “That sounds yummy!”
